We are an online community based in the Netherlands, with meetups across the Low Countries and occasionally further afield. There is no office to visit — the nearest thing we have to one is a car park on a Saturday morning, and you are very welcome at it.
If you are already a member, the quickest way to get an answer is usually to ask in your interest group.
Common questions
Does it cost anything to join?
No. Membership is free, the meetups are free, and there is nothing to upgrade to.
Do I need to own an electric car?
Not at all. A good number of members are still deciding, and a fair few came along out of curiosity and never left. Nobody will try to convert you.
Can I write something for the site?
Yes, please. A long-term review, a road trip, a guide to something that confused you last year — those are the pieces members read most. Send us a line about what you have in mind and we will help you shape it.
Are you affiliated with any manufacturer?
No. Nobody here is paid by a car maker, a charging network or a dealer, and we do not run sponsored reviews. It is the reason we can say when a car is not for you.
Can my club or company work with you on an event?
Often, yes — we have run joint meetups and test-drive mornings before. Tell us what you have in mind and we will be straight with you about whether it fits.
Can children come to meetups?
Absolutely, and they come free. There is usually something for them to look at, and we keep everything family friendly by design.
